Williams Comfort Air & Mr. Plumber Award $5,000 in Scholarships to High School Seniors

INDIANAPOLIS (May 30, 2023) – Williams Comfort Air, a leading Indianapolis heating and air conditioning company, and Mr. Plumber, a leading Indianapolis plumbing company, are proud to announce they have awarded five high school seniors with $1,000 MAX Scholarships for Leadership in the Indianapolis area.

Since 2013, Williams Comfort Air and Mr. Plumber have awarded scholarships to central Indiana high school seniors who showed excellent leadership skills either in the classroom, the community, or within their teams/organizations. Scholarship recipients this year include:

Fana G., Ben Davis High School

Fana is the Valedictorian of her senior class, as well as the President of the class and Giant Kingdom, a minority peer mentorship group. In addition to her leadership commitments and schoolwork, she holds a part-time job.

Sarah H., Pike High School

Sarah is a hard-working student and very active in her school’s Concert Choir. She is described as selfless, respectful and a force of positivity.

Trinity D., Blue River Valley High School

Trinity is an athlete who has played multiple sports during high school. She received a license to be a dental assistant while still in school and is hoping to become a dental hygienist.

Maggie R., Bishop Chatard High School

Maggie is the senior class President at her high school, plays on the soccer team, and is co-editor of the yearbook. Additionally, she’s involved in the Best Buddies program and served on the board for the Caroline Symmes Children’s Cancer Endowment.

“Serving the community means doing more than simply providing a service,” said Greg Wells, President of Williams Comfort Air and Mr. Plumber. “Giving back in the form of scholarships for high school seniors who have impressive leadership skills is one of the most important things we do. Everyone was nominated by loved ones and peers in their own communities, and they all exemplify great leadership. Congratulations to these impressive young people!”

MAX Scholarships for Leadership is part of its MAX Gives campaign that focuses on charitable contributions to the community. Other initiatives include HVAC giveaways to families in need and teachers, water heater giveaways to first responders and community volunteers, monthly donations to various charities, and donations to families during the holiday season.
