INDIANAPOLIS (May 14, 2024) – Williams Comfort Air and Mr. Plumber, leading heating, cooling, plumbing and electrical companies serving Central Indiana, is proud to announce it has awarded $5,000 in scholarships to five deserving high school seniors through its MAX Scholarships for Leadership program.
Since 2015, MAX Service Group, the company that operates Williams Comfort Air and Mr. Plumber, has awarded five $1,000 scholarships to high school seniors in each market where the company operates. This year’s scholarship recipients include:
Reece exemplifies resilience, dedication and leadership. Graduating in May in the top 5 percent of his class and with a GPA above 4.0, Reece is dedicated to both academics and extracurriculars. He has been in robotics, marching band, pep band and show choir, among other endeavors. He also achieved Eagle Scout Rank within the Boy Scout program.
Alex has overcome the significant challenge of severe scoliosis and spinal fusion surgery in her adolescence and emerged with the goal of going into pediatric occupational therapy, driven by her desire to give back to children in need. Alex maintains an impressive academic record with honors and AP classes, alongside active participation in clubs, orchestra, and volunteer work. Her senior year alone she has volunteered more than one hundred hours of her time.
John is a dedicated leader who has displayed resilience and a commitment to personal growth. Excelling academically with a 4.6 GPA and ranking 30th out of 920 students at Fishers High School, Jack has demonstrated his intellectual prowess through his passion for mathematics and pursuit of advanced coursework, including 10 AP classes. Beyond academics, Jack's leadership extends to extracurricular activities such as founding and co-leading the school's poker club, where he fosters inclusivity and camaraderie among its members, and serving as team captain for the JV volleyball team. Additionally, his dedication to environmental advocacy, exemplified by his involvement in various conservation efforts and initiatives such as obtaining a water quality monitoring certificate and advocating for environmental changes with local authorities, underscores his commitment to making a positive impact in his community and beyond.
Aaronson is a National Merit Finalist and top 1% ranking in his graduating class at Carmel High School with a 4.6 GPA. His dedication extends beyond academics, excelling as a first chair violinist in CHS's top orchestra and securing multiple state and regional titles as a gymnast, including being the National Pommel Horse Champion in 2022 and 2023. Aaronson's leadership shines through his humility and compassion that he shows as a tutor to fellow students and mentor to newcomers at Carmel High School through his work with various groups including the National Honor Society.
Bora's dedication to academic excellence in cybersecurity, evident through his enrollment in dual-credit courses at IVY Tech Community College while attending Midwest Academy High School, highlights his commitment to shaping a secure digital future. Alongside his academic pursuits, Bora actively engages in volunteer activities such as working at the food bank and participating in the Adopt-a-Highway program, highlighting his passion for serving others and giving back to his community.

MAX Scholarships for Leadership is part of the MAX Gives campaign that focuses on charitable contributions to the community. Other community involvement and charitable initiatives have included HVAC giveaways to families in need and teachers, water heater giveaways to first responders and community volunteers, monthly donations to various charities, and donations to families during the holiday season.
